Oxfordshire Family Mediation provides mediation free of charge for those
who are eligible for legal aid. If you think you may qualify for free

Initial introductory meetings are charged at £25 + VAT. At this meeting the
mediator will discuss with you the scale of charges that applies for
mediation meetings (90 minutes duration).
This can be between £60 and £150 + VAT depending upon income. Our
charges cover the mediators' time and all work done outside meetings,
including the provision of summaries, telephone calls, administrative
processes, letters etc.
In overall terms, using the Mediation Service along with your solicitor will
cost you approximately half of what it might if you used a solicitor alone.

Cost where mediation is not used are estimated as follows:
- To first appointment: £3k-£5k + VAT and court fees
- To Financial Dispute Resolution hearing: £10k- £12k + VAT and court fees
- To Final Hearing: unlimited
