Mediation Saves Money

Mediation saves you money and is a very effective way of reaching a settlement that will cover all aspects of children’s care, finances and property division. Even when mediation is used together with your solicitor (OFM strongly advise this) the National Office of Statistics figures show that, on average, costs are half that of using solicitors alone.

And because OFM is a not-for-profit organisation we aim to subsidise our fees. This ensures mediation is accessible to everyone, especailly as fees are linked to your ability to pay: so you could be eligible for free mediation!
